Working with silver and gold
In 1991 my husband gifted me with a lovely Himalayan, my very first pedigree cat. I attended a few cat shows and thought that it looked like fun. I knew after seeing the cats at the show that even as pretty as my girl was in my eyes she would never be a show cat. I decided to get another cat - one that I could show. I saw a photo of a shaded silver Persian and it was love at first sight. I had to have a silver! My husband told me on our silver anniversary to start looking for a kitten. It took a few months until I found a beautiful little silver kitten. Thank you Sally and Jim of RDreams, for allowing me to give some of your precious babies a home. Even though I show my cats they are each a spoiled and treasured pet. We show in Region 1 of the Cat Fanciers Association.
Since I am also an avid gardener, and a certified master gardener as well as being so involved with my cats I decided to name my cattery after my two hobbies, Posiepurrs.
All of the foundation cats used in my breeding program have been DNA tested for PKD1 by the lab at UC Davis. All are negative.
Member of the Persian Breed council 2016.
We have made the difficult decision to stop breeding, but please enjoy our cats.
